Brian Joseph Martin, 30, Minot, is charged in district court in Minot with Class A felony kidnapping, with intent to terrorize the victim, Class C felony domestic-violence related terrorizing of an adult victim, Class C felony interference with a telephone during an emergency phone call and Class A misdemeanor violation of a no contact order on Monday.

According to court documents, Martin threatened to kill a woman, threatened her with a weapon and prevented her from leaving during the incident and prevented her from calling police.

Martin was scheduled to make an initial appearance on the charges on Wednesday in district court in Minot.
