State dismisses fentanyl delivery charge
The state has dismissed a Class B felony delivery of fentanyl charge against Jordan Michael Barnes, 40, Bismarck. The charge dated back to June 30.
Barnes pleaded guilty to the lesser charge against him, Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia, on Tuesday. Judge Stacy Louser sentenced him to one year and one day in prison, all suspended but the 16 days he already served In the Ward County Jail, and one year of supervised probation. Louser also ordered Barnes to obtain a chemical dependency evaluation and to pay $1,100 in court costs.
