Ajarius Alshawn Hamilton, 19, Minot is charged in district court in Ward County with Class C felony possession of stolen property and in municipal court with Class B misdemeanor unlawful use of license plates.

According to court documents, Hamilton was found in possession of a 2011 black Ford Taurus that had been reported stolen on Wednesday.

A preliminary hearing on the felony charge is scheduled for Oct. 27 before Judge Doug Mattson.
