Independence, Inc., a local non-profit organization serving people with disabilities, will host a public transportation community meeting on Thursday from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Minot Public Library. 

All interested parties are invited to attend the meeting to start a community dialogue around the issue of public transportation, which has become increasingly important following the closure of Central Cab in Minot. Representatives from Minot City Transit and Souris Basin Transportation will be on hand to listen to input and provide information.
