Connor Ross Bradshaw, 21, Minot, entered an Alford plea on Friday to Class A felony sexual assault on a young child in 2018.

An Alford plea means he maintains his innocence but recognizes he could be found guilty if the case goes to trial. A jury trial in the case had been scheduled for Aug. 22.

No sentencing date has yet been scheduled.

Bradshaw was convicted by a jury in McHenry last year of raping a 5-year-old girl in 2018 and sentenced to 20 years in prison. He was 18 at the time he committed the crimes.
