Darren Wayne Usrey, 60, Minot, is charged in district court in Ward County with Class C felony terrorizing and Class A misdemeanor domestic violence causing substantial bodily injury.

Both charges are connected with an incident on Nov. 25, 2020, but the warrant was only served on Usrey on Wednesday.

According to court documents, Usrey threatened a woman with a knife and struck her in the eye with a crock bowl filled with a hot liquid, leaving her with a cut and bruised eye and causing her to experience a temporary loss of vision in that eye.
