Davontae Wykeith Moore, 18, Minot, is charged in district court in Ward County with Class C felony reckless endangerment for allegedly firing a gun from a vehicle multiple times within the northwest Minot city limits on Feb. 28 during an altercation with people in another car.

According to court documents, police had received a report that two groups of males in two vehicles had been shooting at each other in northwest Minot. At the scene, police found nine 9 mm casings and one discharged lead slugs. Gunshot holes were found at two residences in the vicinity. The dispute involved multiple people and allegedly arose due to the accusation that Moore had previously robbed a juvenile who owed him money.

No other information was immediately available about charges against other participants in the reported gun battle.
