Intent to deliver fentanyl charge dismissed

A Class B felony charge of intent to manufacture or deliver fentanyl was dismissed on Thursday against Trace Dalton Hart, 28, of Minot.

Hart pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of Class A misdemeanor possession of fentanyl and was sentenced by Judge Gary Lee to 360 days in jail, all suspended but the 62 days he has already served, and 18 months of supervised probation. Lee also ordered Hart to obtain a chemical dependency evaluation and to pay $625 in court costs.

A Class B felony intent to manufacture or deliver fentanyl charge was dismissed earlier against his co-defendant in the case.
