Indian horse relay races test bareback riders’ skills

PARSHALL — Competitors took part in the third annual Indian Relay races held at Parshall on June 24.

The weather was rainy, windy with the temperature around 50 degrees when the races were held that evening.

This year’s North Dakota State Fair in July will feature Indian Horse Relay races at the Grandstand on July 26. The races there will be sponsored by the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation.
