Two men found guilty of federal drug dealing offenses

BaQuan Martese Sledge, 34, and Darius Ramon Sledge, 31, were both found guilty by a federal jury in Fargo last week of intent to distribute a controlled substance, money laundering conspiracy, intent to distribute oxycodone. maintaining a drug-involved premises, and continuing a criminal enterprise. BaQuan Sledge was also found guilty of intent to distribute oxycodone. Darius Sledge was acquitted of one count of intent to distribute oxycodone.

The two men, both originally from Detroit, Mich., had been accused of being the ringleaders of a fentanyl traffic ring that reportedly distributed oxycodone on the Fort Berthold, Turtle Mountain, and Spirit Lake reservations between 2015 and 2019.

Court records show that no sentencing date for the men has yet been scheduled.
