Trio charged with intent to deliver drugs

Three people are charged in district court in Minot with Class A felony possession with intent to deliver about 140 grams of methamphetamine and Class B felony possession with intent to deliver fentanyl at a Minot hotel on Wednesday.

Scott Alexander Raski, 49, Minot, is charged with Class A felony possession with intent to deliver 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, Class B felony possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, two counts of Class C felony felon in possession of a firearm, Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia, Class C felony possession of methamphetamine, his second offense; Class C felony possession of a stolen firearm.

Valorie Nicole Mattson, 25, is charged with Class A felony possession with intent to deliver 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, Class B felony possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, Class A misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and Class A misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine.

Joey Lee Jesz, 28, has been charged with Class A felony intent to deliver 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, Class B felony possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, and Class C felony possession of a stolen credit card.

All three were scheduled to make an initial appearance on the charges on Thursday before Judge Richard Hagar.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court, police had gone to the Welcome Suites looking for Jesz on outstanding warrants. Further investigation led to the discovery of the drugs, paraphernalia and other items.
