Crash injures four near LaMoure

LITCHVILLE — Two Glenburn travelers in a motorhome were involved in a crash three miles east of Litchville Friday that injured four people, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

An 83-year-old male from Glenburn was driving the motor home, with an 85-year-old female passenger, and was stopped at the intersection of Highways 1 and 46. A Pontiac G6 driven by a 34-year-old female from Lisbon was traveling north on Highway 1 at about 2 p.m. and was struck when the motorhome pulled out. The motorhome pushed the Pontiac into the northeast corner of the intersection, causing both vehicles to strike a light pole.

The driver of the Pontiac and three juvenile passengers ages 12, 7 and 5 were transported by ambulance to CHI Mercy Hospital in Valley City to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash. The occupants of the motorhome were uninjured. Names had not been released as of Friday evening. The crash is under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
