Record attendance expected at state archery event
The National Archery in the Schools Program state tournament will return to live action March 18-19 at the All Seasons Arena in Minot. The tournament the last two years was held virtually due to COVID-19 concerns.
Jeff Long, North Dakota Game and Fish Department NASP coordinator, said event organizers expect record attendance in 2022, with more than 1,000 participants.
“It’s nice to get back to live action for the kids,” Long said. “From what I’m hearing from coaches is that the kids can’t wait to get into that arena and compete. And we’re excited to give them that opportunity.”
