Abraham Carrillo, Minot, sentenced for luring a minor by computer
Abraham Carrillo, 30, Minot, was sentenced on Monday to 360 days in jail, all suspended but the 134 days he already served, and three years of supervised probation for Class C felony luring a minor by computer in February 2021. The state dismissed a Class C felony dissemination of obscene material charge and two counts of Class C felony possession of child pornography charges against Carrillo. Judge Stacy Louser also ordered Carrillo to register as a sex offender and to pay $525 In court costs.
According to court documents, Carrillo exchanged sexually explicit messages with someone he believed to be 16. The text messages actually came from a fake social media profile set up by the Berthold Police Department.
