High temperature Wednesday set record
A record high temperature was set on Wednesday in Minot.
The temperature had reached 57 degrees as of 12:54 p.m. on Wednesday, beating the previous record high temperature of 54 degrees set on Dec. 1, 1969.
The weather for the rest of the week is forecasted to be more typical for December, with a slight chance of rain and snow in the forecast for today and a projected high of 46 degrees.
The average high temperature for early December in Minot is 31 degrees and the average low temperature is 11 degrees.
