Minot AFB squadron commander relieved of command

Air Force Global Strike Command has confirmed that a squadron leader at Minot Air Force Base was relieved of his command this week.

“We can confirm that Lt. Col. Benjamin Burdette, 91st Missile Wing Operations Support Squadron (OSS) commander, was relieved of command on Sept. 27, 2021, due to a loss of trust and confidence in his ability to command and oversee operations of the squadron. In order to protect the privacy of the member, no further information will be released at this time,” said an Air Force Global Strike Command spokesperson.
