Submitted Photo The Entrepreneurial Center for Horticulture at Dakota College at Bottineau will continue its popular Pumpkins in the Park program this year.

The Entrepreneurial Center for Horticulture at Dakota College at Bottineau staff and horticulture students will hide around 800 mini pumpkins throughout the Forestry Park in Bottineau between Oct. 27 through Oct. 31. Its Pumpkins in the Park is geared toward children in fifth grade or younger.

There will be five silver pumpkins and five gold pumpkins hidden along with the other pumpkins. If a child finds a gold or silver pumpkin, the pumpkin can be redeemed for a special prize of Dakota College at Bottineau merchandise, Bottineau Bucks and Halloween items. Parents should call Apryl Mawby at 550-1564 or Breanna Blue at 228-5498 if a child finds a gold or silver pumpkin. Pumpkins must be redeemed no later than Nov. 5.
