Cramer to visit southwest border
Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, will visit McAllen, Texas, on Friday to observe the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security operations along the southwest border.
“While law enforcement officers are working tirelessly to secure our southern border, the Biden Administration’s response to the ongoing border crisis has made the task more difficult,” said Cramer. “I look forward to visiting the border again and talking with personnel on the group to understand the impact of President Biden’s open border policies.”
The trip will include a visit to processing facilities and time with Border Patrol officers at several stations along the border.
