Air Force awards $2.6 billion contract to replace B-52 engines

Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., announced the U.S. Air Force has awarded a $2.6 billion contract to Rolls Royce for the replacement of B-52 engines.

Minot Air Force Base is one of two bases with B-52s. Barksdale AFB, La., also has B-52s.
