Newest members of NDCHF Board of Directors announced
MEDORA – Three area people are the newest members of the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame’s Board of Directors.
They are Nelson Heart of New Town, Eva Hepper of Keene and Ivan Johnson of Mandaree.
Shirley Meyer of Dickinson retired from the board earlier this year after serving for nearly 20 years. There were also two board vacancies.
Heart grew up farming and ranching and had a more than 45-year career in law enforcement. He owns NL Transport Services.
Hepper ranches with her husband, Jeff, and their children. She has worked with many organizations in the production of rodeos in North Dakota and South Dakota. She is the adviser for the Watford City High School Rodeo Club.
Johnson has many years of experience in ranching and rodeo and also has worked in the oil field. He’s a former vice chairman of the Three Affiliated Tribes business council. He owns Tee Bench Construction/Tee Bench, Inc.
