A free shuttle bus is running between Dakota Square Mall and the North Dakota State Fair this week from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. each day of the fair.

JaCee Aaseth, the marketing director, said the bus picks up fair-goers in the J.C. Penney parking lot at the mall and delivers them to Gate D at the State Fair and also picks up people at Gate D and returns them to the mall.

Aaseth said there are multiple buses running. She said people might find it particularly handy after attending a concert at the State Fair if they need a ride back.

The service is sponsored by the North Dakota State Fair.
