John Jacob Walker, Minot, charged with terrorizing
John Jacob Elijah Walker, 25, Minot, is now also accused of assaulting and threatening a woman with a toy gun that looked like the real thing on April 17. According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, the woman believed the gun was real and feared for her life.
He is charged with Class C felony terrorizing – domestic violence.
In separate cases, Walker is accused of stealing a neighbor’s Harley-Davidson motorcycle on May 21. He is charged with Class B felony possession of stolen property in that case. In another case, he is charged with Class A misdemeanor reckless endangerment and accused of firing a pellet gun up to four times at an apartment on June 8 after trying to kick in the door as it was being held shut by the resident. A pellet went through a screen window and bounced off the wall on the inside of a bedroom in the apartment as a woman was sitting on a bed there.
Walker was scheduled to make an initial appearance on the latest charge on Thursday before Judge Stacy Louser.
