Bo Cramer, Minot, indicted on federal child pornography charges

Bo Custis Cramer, 35, Minot, has been indicted in U.S. District Court on charges including receipt of images depicting the sexual exploitation of children and distribution of images depicting the sexual exploitation of children.

He had originally been charged with the offenses in district court in Ward County but the case will now be prosecuted in federal court.

According to the probable cause filed with the case in district court, the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation received a tip that an online Dropbox account associated with Cramer’s email address had uploaded child pornography files to Dropbox on June 11, 2020. Further investigation resulted in Cramer’s arrest. Images discovered in the Dropbox account and on Cramer’s phone showed the sexual abuse of boys and girls under the age of 12, according to the affidavit.

Cramer was ordered held in custody at the Ward County Jail pending trial, which is currently scheduled for June 8 in U.S. District Court.
