Joe Wiegand, who portrays the conservation president Theodore Roosevelt, will be at Minot’s Roosevelt Park Zoo on Earth Day on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wiegand is with the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation.

At noon people can grab a lunch and listen to TR at the statue in Roosevelt Park.

At 3 p.m. there will be a chat with TR about his military service and experience. The chat will be held at the Medal of Honor Memorial in the park near the zoo.

School groups can schedule a block of time if they wish to meet with TR. To schedule a time or for more information call the zoo at 857-4166.
