Two injured in motorcycle crash near Crosby

CROSBY – A Crosby man and a juvenile male were injured in a motorcycle crash on Divide County Road 15, two miles north of Crosby, on Tuesday.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol said John Trueax, 32, driving a 1994 Honda motorcycle, was going south on the road when the motorcycle drifted onto the west shoulder. Trueax lost control of the motorcycle and it fell on its side. He and the passenger were thrown from the motorcycle and suffered serious injuries.

Both were transported by ambulance to St. Luke’s Hospital in Crosby and later transported by air ambulance to Trinity Hospital in Minot. The patrol said neither Trueax nor his passenger were wearing helmets. The crash occurred at 1:10 p.m. and remains under investigation by the N.D. Highway Patrol.
