A 2003 Dodge Durango collided with the rear of a 2010 International school bus about 8 miles south of Minot Tuesday. Three people in the Durango were transported by ambulance to Trinity Hospital in Minot. One juvenile passenger on the school bus was also transported to Trinity Hospital by ambulance.

According to a North Dakota Highway Patrol report, all injuries sustained were serious in nature but non-life threatening. No other details regarding the injured parties were available.

The accident occured at 3:35 p.m. in the northbound lane of U.S. Highway 83. Both vehicles were en route from South Prairie school and in the left lane of travel. The bus slowed to make a left-hand turn when it was struck in the rear by the Durango.

Several students were on the school bus at the time of the accident.
