NDSU to offer virtual creative writing camp this summer

North Dakota State University and the Red River Valley Writing Project will hold a creative writing camp for students entering grades 7-12 July 26-30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., that will be offered both in person at NDSU in Fargo and online for students from across the state. Seniors who have graduated this spring may also participate. The daily sessions include instruction on fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, screenwriting, song writing and cartooning by professional writers and educators.

The fee is $200 in person, which includes daily snacks and lunch, and $1500 for virtual participants. Both costs include all materials, a camp T-shirt, and prize drawings.

A limited number of scholarships are available. For more information, contact camp director Jamee Larson at jamee.larson@ndsu.edu.
