Area airports to receive funds
Airports in Garrison, Stanley and Mohall are among additional airports in North Dakota to receive funding from the Federal Aviation Administration through the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, passed by Congress in December.
Sens. John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer announced 11 additional grants, which will be used to supplement the cost to clean, sanitize and combat the spread of pathogens at airports.
Mohall Municipal Airport and Stanley Municipal Airport each will receive $13,000. Garrison Municipal Airport will receive $9,000. The International Peace Garden Airport also will receive $9,000.
