Two killed in Anamoose crash
Two people were killed Thursday evening in a head-on collision near Anamoose.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the driver of a 2016 Ford F-150 was attempting to pass a semi-truck on U.S. Highway 52, approximately one mile southeast of Anamoose, when it struck the second vehicle, a 2006 Pontiac Montana, head-on.
Pronounced dead at the scene were both occupants of the second vehicle, a female driver, 49, and a male, 55, both from Martin. Names are being withheld pending notification of family. The pickup was driven by a male, 29, from Harvey, who was flown to Trinity Hospital for treatment of injuries suffered in the crash.
The time of the accident was 7:27 p.m. Thursday. The HP described road conditions at time as good and the weather clear.
