Samantha Ann Park, 28, Minot, was sentenced on Feb. 24 in district court in Minot to a year in prison, all suspended but the 60 days she has already served, and three years of supervised probation in Adult Drug Court for intent to deliver methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia on July 13, 2020 and for Class C felony child endangerment on Dec. 31, 2020. Other charges were dismissed under the terms of a plea deal.

Park was also ordered to pay $1,350 in court costs.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court in the intent to deliver case, Park was driving a vehicle that was stopped for a registration violation. The Ward County Sheriff’s Office deployed a drug dog for a sniff around the vehicle and the dog alerted to the presence of drugs. The methamphetamine and paraphernalia were found during the search.

According to court documents in the other case, Park endangered children by exposing them to drugs on Dec. 31, 2020.
