BISMARCK – Billy Ogdahl of Milnor won the North Dakota Farm Bureau Young Farmer and Rancher Discussion Meet at the Farm and Ranch Conference held Feb.5-7, at the Ramada Hotel in Bismarck.

Other finalists for the award were Aspen Lenning, Plaza, Aaron Subart, Robinson, and Anna Lemm, Hillsboro, according to information provided by the North Dakota Farm Bureau.

The Discussion Meet is an exchange of ideas and information from participants on a predetermined topic.

“Participating in the NDFB Discussion Meet is much more than a competition,” said Ogdahl. “Each year we walk away with new perspectives and solutions to take home to our communities.”

Ogdahl took home a Polaris four-wheeler and will compete at the American Farm Bureau Federation YF&R Discussion Meet Jan. 7-10, 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia.

“I look forward to continuing the conversation on a national level and bringing more insight back to North Dakota farmers and ranchers,” said Ogdahl.

Ogdahl and his fiancee Abbigail raise registered red and black Angus cattle.
