Christopher John Hanson, 33, Kenmare, is accused of strangling another man during an altercation at a Kenmare residence on Sunday.

He is charged with Class C felony aggravated assault.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Hanson had accused the other man of being a “snitch” and making a report about possible methamphetamine possession to police.

Hanson was reportedly under the influence of alcohol during the incident.
