Andrew Rieger, Harvey, sentenced to 18 months for corruption of a minor
Andrew Jordan Rieger, 32, Harvey, was sentenced on Monday in district court in Benson County to three years in prison, with a requirement that he serve 18 months, followed by five years of supervised probation for Class C felony corruption of a 15-year-old girl.
Other charges against him were dismissed in November 2020, including two charges of Class C felony luring a minor by computer, three Class A misdemeanor stalking charges, Class A misdemeanor delivery of alcohol to a minor, and Class A misdemeanor reckless endangerment. He was found not guilty of other charges at trial, including two other Class C felony corruption of a minor charges, Class C felony luring a minor by computer, and two other Class A misdemeanor delivery of alcohol to a minor charges.
Judge Lonnie Olson also ordered Rieger to pay $2,481 in restitution and $1,525 in court costs on the C felony corruption of a minor charge.
