BISMARCK - The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development has awarded $4 million in grants in North Dakota, according to Sens. John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer.
The grants include:
- Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians for $1.54 million through the Water and Waste program to finance water supply improvements for residents and replace two aged water storage tanks.
- City of Rugby for $22,500 through the Water and Waste program to prepare a preliminary report to identify water and wastewater infrastructure improvements and repairs needed throughout the city.
Additionally, USDA awarded a $2.4 million loan guarantee to Harris Oil and Propane, LLC, to expand the storage facility in Belcourt, increasing propane storage capacity.
