The AARP Tax-Aide program scheduled to begin Feb. 1 has been postponed to start Feb. 12.

The program provides free tax assistance for low- to moderate-income residents, with an emphasis on assisting seniors. The program assists with basic returns, which includes returns of retired farmers and the self-employed.

The tax headquarters in the American Legion will be open Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., following new COVID-19 safety procedures. Appointments can be made by calling 509-1446.
