Minot and Rugby organizations receive Otto Bremer Trust awards

Two Minot organizations and one in Rugby have received Otto Bremer Trust awards.

Enhancing & Strengthening North Dakota Nonprofits and Communities, Minot, received $75,000, Full STEAM Ahead, also of Minot, received $30,000, and Good Samaritan Hospital Association, Rugby, received $45,000.

Enhancing & Strengthening North Dakota Nonprofits & Communities will use the grant funds for general operations to provide nonprofit and rural community capacity building activities and technical assistance in North Dakota.

Full STEAM Ahead will use the grant funds for general operations to support youth development and enrichment activities for children in the Minot area.

Good Samaritan Hospital Association will use the grant funds to refurbish the main elevator at Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby.

Numerous other organizations in the state also received grant funds.

“With this latest round of grants, we are reminded of the critical need that communities and individuals across the region continue to have as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and its health and economic impacts,” said Charlotte Johnson, CO-CEO and trustee, Otto Bremer Trust. The Otto Bremer Trust is a bank holding company and a private charitable trust based in St. Paul, Minn.
