Envie Jackson-Jones, Minot, charged with intent to deliver cocaine, maintaining drug house

Envie Meshaye Jackson-Jones, 27, Minot, is charged in district court with Class B felony intent to deliver cocaine, Class B felony intent to deliver marijuana, and Class C felony maintaining a residence for the sale of drugs in October.

She made an initial appearance in court on Tuesday before Judge Gary Lee, where she said the charges against her are false. Judge Lee set bond at $7,500 with a requirement that Jackson-Jones post 10 percent of that. A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for Feb. 18.

Grady Lee Floyd, 25, was charged last month with Class B felony intent to deliver cocaine, Class B felony intent to deliver marijuana, Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia – manufacture, Class A misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia – use, and Class A misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia for the manufacture of marijuana.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court, the Ward County Narcotics Task Force was alerted to drug activity going on 1808 35th Avenue SE after Floyd posted a SnapChat video that showed a large amount of marijuana and U.S. currency at the address. Police obtained a search warrant for the residence and located marijuana in plain view on the table and a cut straw with white powder. In a duffle bag, they also found 14 individually packaged baggies containing marijuana, four nearly full one ounce containers of marijuana, two baggies containing suspected cocaine, one weighing 1.4 gram and one weighing 2.2 grams. They also found a scale with suspected drug residue, two ledgers containing details of drug transactions and a coffee can containing $515 in U.S. currency. They found two marijuana grinders in the drawer under the oven. Floyd claimed a firearm discovered belonged to his brother.

Further investigation revealed that Jackson-Jones rented the property, allowed Floyd to stay there and knew what he had been doing, and had regularly sent messages from her phone via text to Floyd arranging drug sales and the transport of marijuana and cocaine.
