Cooking for 1 or 2 class to be offered Dec. 8
With the growth in one- and two-person households, Trinity Health Outpatient Nutrition Services will offer a cooking class, “Recipes for 1 or 2,” Tuesday, Dec. 8, from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Trinity Health Community Conference Room at Town & Country Center.
Outpatient Dietitian Kayla Cole will share scaled-down recipes and offer tips to help small family units liven up menus, adjust recipe amounts, and use leftovers creatively.
“Cooking for one or two can seem kind of pointless at times but all of us, no matter what size household we live in, deserve meals that are interesting and nutritious,” Cole said.
There is a $10 fee to cover the cost of food and recipes. Class space is limited. RSVP is required by calling 857-5268 by Dec. 7. People must bring their own mask to wear throughout the class.
