Paraprofessional certificate program at DCB ranked eighth by Learn.com

Dakota College at Bottineau’s online education paraprofessional certification program has been recognized by Learn.com as the eighth best in the nation, according to information provided by the college.

Learn.org ranked programs on admission requirements, program flexibility, and program length.

Paraprofessionals work with children at day care centers, preschool programs, home childcare and in schools. Students who complete the certificate program can also go on to obtain an associate degree in paraprofessional education or to work in an entry level position. The program is available on the campus in Bottineau, as well as through DCB’s program at Minot State University, Valley City State University, or through online studies. Students can also take classes collaboratively through other colleges or universities in the North Dakota University System.

Dakota College at Bottineau also offers the paraprofessional education early childhood and paraprofesssional education K-12 associate of applied science degree.
