Oscar Delacruz given suspended sentence, 5 years probation, for having sexual contact with underage girl
Oscar Manuel Delacruz, 25, Minot, was sentenced on Oct. 9 to 360 days in jail, all suspended, and five years of supervised probation for having sexual contact with a girl between the ages of 15 and 17 in Ward County on May 1, 2019.
Delacruz pleaded guilty last week to the Class C felony corruption of a minor charge.
Court records show that Judge Richard Hagar also ordered Delacruz to register as a sex offender and to pay $525 in court costs. He will receive credit for 10 days spent in the Ward County Jail. If Delacruz successfully completes probation, the C felony will be reduced to an A misdemeanor on his record.
