Mariah Hope Brien, 25, Bottineau, is charged in district court in Bottineau with Class C felony child neglect and Class C felony contact by bodily fluids or excrement – law enforcement officer.

She was charged Wednesday and is in custody at the Bottineau County Correctional Center. She was scheduled to make an initial appearance on Thursday before Judge Anthony Benson.

No further information about the charges is available.

Brien was drunk and drove into the front of The Landing Bar and Bottle Shop in Minot in January 2018. A clerk was injured. She was given a suspended sentence and two years of supervised probation.
