The state has dismissed a Class C felony domestic violence causing serious bodily injury charge against Garrett Michael St. Claire, 25.

Court records show that the charge was dismissed on Aug. 21. St. Claire had been accused of punching and strangling his girlfriend during a domestic violence altercation on Jan. 24.

A change of plea hearing on a Class A misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine charge is scheduled for Sept. 18.
