ND launches American Wind Week

BISMARCK – Powering North Dakota and its supporters are observing American Wind Week with a virtual tour and panel discussion.

On Monday 10:30 a.m., Apex Clean Energy will host a virtual tour of a wind farm and wind turbine climb to highlight the wind energy workers on the frontlines. Find the tour at Powering North Dakota on Facebook.

A virtual panel discussion highlighting the economic contributions of wind energy across North Dakota and the unique partnerships forming across the state will be held Aug. 12, at 1:30 p.m. Panelists include Kathy Neset, president, Neset Consulting’ Doug Darling, president, Lake Region State College; Brad Barth, executive director, Forward Devils Lake Corp.; and Dennis Lindahl, community development coordinator, Tioga Economic Development Corp. Moderator will be Jesse Dougherty, Powering North Dakota.
