Dickinson man killed in McKenzie County fatal crash
A 25-year-old Dickinson man was killed Monday in a crash in McKenzie County, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
According to the Patrol, the man was driving a 2019 Ford F-150 north on U.S. Highway 85 when he crossed the center line and struck the side of a southbound 2017 Kenworth semi-truck that was hauling an oversize load. After it struck the oversize load, the F-150 spun out into the west ditch where it came to rest. A 40-year-old Watford City woman was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado behind the Kenwoth and her Silverado was struck by flying debris. Neither the driver of the Kenworth nor the driver of the Silverado were injured. The driver of the F-150 was dead at the scene of the crash.
Names are being withheld pending notification of relatives.
The accident happened at 7:09 a.m. Monday on U.S. Highway 85 at mile marker 108.
