Faith Jeannotte, Minot, charged with delivery of meth

Faith Marie Jeannotte, 34, of Minot, is charged in district court in Minot with Class B felony delivery of methamphetamine on Thursday, a second offense of possession of methamphetamine, a Class C felony, Class C felony possession with intent to distribute an imitation controlled substance, Class C felony possession of drug paraphernalia, and Class A misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon.

Jeannotte was scheduled to make an initial appearance on the charges on Friday before Judge Gary Lee.

Also charged as co-defendants were Kyle Ray Riley, 24, Minot Air Force Base, who is charged with Class A misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and Class A misdemeanor fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle; Michael Lawrence Jeannotte, 19, of Bismarck, who is charged with a second offense of possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C felony; and Kamara Renee Hall, 25, of Minot, who is charged with Class A misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Faith Jeannotte was stopped for a traffic violation on Wednesday in Minot and Hall, Michael Jeannotte and Riley were passengers in the vehicle. A Ward County Narcotics Task Force officer spotted what appeared to be drugs on a small piece of plastic on the door handle area of Hall’s passenger door. It quickly disappeared. The officer asked Hall where it went and she produced a meth crystal wrapped in plastic from the floorboard. The occupants were ordered out of the vehicle and detained. A search of the vehicle turned up methamphetamine, a “suspicious off-white powder wrapped in a foil gum wrapper, glass smoking devices, plastic pen tubes and straws with suspected drug residue, multiple electronic scales, a concealed machete under the driver’s seat, marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia, and butane torches.

Hall allegedly admitted that she had received methamphetamine from Faith Jeannotte. Hall told police that she prefers to use heroin but intended to sell the meth in order to obtain heroin. Faith Jeannotte told police she had taken makeup powder, put it into a foil container that looked like powdered heroin packaging, folded it into a bindle and she had intended to use it to “rip off” Hall with an imitation controlled substance.
