Dakota Cruisers to honor veterans, active duty & retired military

Dakota Cruisers Car Club of Minot’s Wednesday night cruise on Broadway this week will recognize veterans, active duty and retired military members.

Those interested in taking part in the cruise can gather at 6 p.m. in the southwest corner of the Kmart parking lot. The cruise on Broadway will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Past Wednesday night cruises on Broadway have honored first-responders, law enforcement and daycare providers, children and active and retired educators.

Last week’s cruise honored all graduates and included a tribute to Michael Fenner, who died when struck by a vehicle. He would have graduated from high school May 22.

George Masters, Dakota Cruisers president, said 275 vehicles participated in last Wednesday’s cruise on Broadway.
