Ward County Public Library announces virtual reading event

The Ward County Public Library has partnered with the North Dakota State Library and others across the state to provide a virtual Statewide Summer Reading Kickoff on Facebook.

During the week of June 1-5, the events will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on those five days.

On June 1, the Ward County library will go live on Facebook from 1-1:30 p.m. with a “Jack and the Beanstalk”-themed storytime. On June 4, the library will go live on Facebook with an adult crafting project, making fairy houses. On June 5, their live storytime will have a “Cinderella” theme.

Minot Public Library will be sharing in the fun as well. Storytime will be live on Facebook on June 1 from 11:30 a.m.-noon. On June 2, teen programming will go live from 1-1:30 p.m. Finally, the June 3 event will be an online adult craft with the Minot Public Library from 12:30-1 p.m.
