Veterans Rally for Resources set for May 20

The North Dakota Military Outreach Program and the Minot Vet Center will be holding a Veterans Rally for Resources event on May 20 in the Armed Forces Reserve Center parking lot at 3420 2nd Street NE in Minot.

The rally will be from 1-3 p.m. Those attending must stay in their vehicles.

Six veterans service providers booths will be set up in the parking lot spaced accordingly. Someone will be directing the traffic. People are asked to enter the parking lot and stay in their vehicles. Representatives from the booths will approach vehicles wearing masks and gloves to provide resource materials and giveaways.

The event is open to veterans, service members and their families. It is an opportunity for those attending to connect with local veterans agency providers and find out how they can assist them as well as answer any questions those attending may have during this time.

This is not a testing area for COVID-19.

Those with questions can contact Kelli Weiand at 340-2779 or Ric Gutierrez at 852-0177.
