BELCOURT – Raymond Lafrombois, 55, Belcourt, died in a Belcourt hospital following a two-vehicle crash on 99th St. NE, about 4 miles northeast of Dunseith on Thursday, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Kyle Davis, 32, driver, and Tannika Daye, 28, passenger, both Dunseith, who were in the other vehicle, had non-life-threatening injuries.

Davis was driving a Ford F-150 pickup west on 99th Street NE. Lafrombois was driving a Dodge Dakota pickup east on the street and made a left turn to drive north. Lafrombois turned left in front of the Ford and the Ford struck the right-hand side of the Dodge. Lafrombois was taken to Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Health in Belcourt where he died.

The crash remains under investigation.
