Williston man injured in two-vehicle crash
WILLISTON – A 60-year-old Williston man was injured in a two-vehicle crash 10 miles north of Williston on Thursday.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol said Curtis Slyte, driving a 2019 Polaris Ranger, was injured in the crash.
According to the Highway Patrol, Allison Marie Shumack, 36, Williston, driving a Jeep Wrangler, was going east on 67th St. NW near the junction of 137th Avenue NW. Slyte, driving the Ranger, was traveling south down a private driveway attempting to cross 67th Street NW and failed to yield the right of way to the Jeep. The Jeep’s front bumper struck the passenger side of the Ranger. The Ranger rolled onto its driver’s side and came to rest on the road. Slyte was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Williston. Shumack was not injured. The crash is under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
